Input / Output & Noise Immunity
- Input Protection: Heavy-duty PC817 Opto-Isolators on all logic inputs to completely block contactor inductive kickback.
- Signal Filtering: Strict 50ms software RC debounce filter across all floor sensors to eliminate EMI-induced "phantom" calls.
- Motor / VFD Interface: 4 Dedicated onboard output relays mapped for standard 2-Speed VFD control (High Speed, Low Speed, Motor Up, Motor Down).
- Door Operator: Dedicated Open/Close relay logic with configurable intelligent "Same-Floor" call resolution.
Safety & Emergency Protocols:
- Hardware Safety Chain: Dedicated physical SAFETY_CHAIN_PIN instantly locks out motor drive engagement if the safety loop or door landing lock is compromised.
- Anti-Burnout Timeout: Hardcoded 25-second motor timeout fault limit. Cuts all drive power if the cabin fails to reach the next floor sensor, preventing motor burnout during mechanical jams.
- Fireman Mode: Dedicated emergency input forces cabin directly to Ground floor, clears all memory call arrays, and parks safely with doors open.
- Maintenance Mode: Manual toggle switch bypasses passenger calls, allowing safe jogging of the cabin via dedicated UP/DN hardware buttons.
Display & Communication Metrics:
- Serial Output: Live asynchronous UART data streaming <Floor, Direction, Mode Operating> for seamless Nextion TFT COP integration.
- Legacy Parallel Support: Integrated standard 7-Segment/BCD bit pattern outputs for legacy scrolling dot-matrix Landing Operation Panels (LOP).
